note: With Good Intentions: I
am running a hire business, (when
its not raining) to earn some money to
feed the kids, pay the bills, keep the vans on
the road and insurance. I am not doing bouncy
castle/slide hire for a laugh, for fun or on the
cheap, only the kids have the fun. So you
as the hirer/charity/fund raiser please don't
ask for discounts, half price deals or to borrow
the inflatable(s), Please remember
Charity begins at home. You wouldn't ask your
petrol station supermarket/shop for your
shopping/ fuel on the cheap or half price, so
please don't ask me. Inflatable hire &
delivery involves the same effort and time for
me, I have to arrange the
booking/paperwork, delivery, set up and
collection, whether you want it for one minute
or one day, the hire times are stated below in
red, the
prices for each inflatable are behind each of
the inflatable picture thumbnails. Unlike in the
shops there are no gimmicks, no small print and
no catches, but there is a travelling
cost/mileage charge 35p per mile 4 ways
from Bodmin. You
will be notified about the cost for delivery on
the booking form before the hire, which you will
be required to sign and return, you will be
asked for a 20% deposit of the inflatable, plus
the travelling as a deposit and
you pay the
balance in cash on the day of hire before
inflation of the inflatable(s). No cash
NO HIRE and you will also lose your 20%
booking/traveling deposit. Plus
you will also need to supply a
£30.00 cash bond
which is refundable (section 10). All
bookings are Weather Permitting, e.g. they will
be cancelled if high winds, force 5 (19-24
mph) on the Beaufort Scale this is when small
trees in leaf begin to sway Health
and Safety at work act 1974 rain or
overcast with drizzle is forecast because of the
electric blower( RISK OF ELECTROCUTION). (Unless
a hall is booked for indoor use) All for
(HEALTH & SAFETY) You
will receive a full refund of any deposits paid
if due to the weather or if cancelled in writing
with 7 days notice, no questions asked. What you
see is what you get for your hire plus a
BIG THANK YOU at the
end of the hire
Fundraisers please note:
That if you approach me to do an all day/weekend event for
your organisation charity on a
commission basis, You
the organiser(s), will be held liable for a less than 7 days
cancellation fee. You will have to sign a contract
with North Cornwall Bouncy Castle & Slide hire,
this contract will be enforced as compensation, that if you
decide to cancel your event without giving me 7 days notice
in writing via
recorded delivery to avoid arguments, including
weekends, you will be required to
pay me £50.00 for
wasting my time/loss of
earnings, (unless of course bad weather on the day).
This is because when I take on this sort of work often
months ahead , I have to turn down other guaranteed hire
work on the same day/weekend. The 7
days notice will give me time so that I can look for
other work.
I will be happy to
attend your event (Weather Permitting, e.g.
but not if windy, rain or overcast with drizzle is
forecast)(HEALTH & SAFETY)and only if
its an all day event and in the north Cornwall area
unless you pay me up front £50.00 to cover my travelling
expenses,of which
is properly advertised, e.g. in the newspapers
and on the local radio, well in
advance. Not just word of mouth, or an A4 poster stapled
to a tree or telegraph pole, that when it rains you cant
read it or something similar. (Also that On the
basis that I'm the sole operator of the bouncy castle(s)
or slide(s), And that i can if i wish bring
along a selection of impulse buy toys starting from
£1.00 of which you will receive a further 10% of all
takings from them. All types of
functions are catered for, Kiddies Parties, Rallies,
Weddings, Fetes, Galas, Fund Raising events, Carnivals,
Car Boots, Gala's, it's a knock-out, YFC/Scouts/Brownies
events, and Corporate Events. For Hire
or on a Commission basis. Commission!!
You will receive 20% on all the days takings, (after the
first £50) for the inflatable bouncy castle(s)or slide(s) within the Cornwall area...

Daily hire: Between –10.00 hrs –
17.00 hrs Approx (adjustable and seasonal),
(Depending on the amount of drops for
that day/time on a first come basis!!! )
Outside these hours unless you have
a late booking.
The following charges are: 10% of the hire charge per hour.
(Max hire: 21:00 hours indoors and
20:00 hours weather permitting outdoors.)
i.e. (All negotiable/flexible depending on the
amount of hires on the day.)
Please Note:
that grass cuttings make a mess on
Inflatable(s), so please do not cut the grass the day before. Allow at
least a week before the event and rake the area where inflatable(s) will
be sited.
Please note: We do not hire bouncy castles or slides to be used on the beach.
Kids
bored? Why not share the cost of an inflatable hire during the summer
holidays with your neighbours.
In
rainy/windy weather why not think about hiring a hall?
